TAV Airports Awarded in Six Categories at “Turkey Investor Relations Awards”

TAV Airports received 6 awards in the third “Turkey Investor Relations Awards,” organized in collaboration with Thomson Reuters and Acclaro.

As part of the third “Turkey Investor Relations Awards” organized by Thomson Reuters Extel Surveys and Acclaro, TAV Airports topped the category “Best CEO for Investor Relations,” receiving awards in an additional five categories; “Best CFO for Investor Relations,“ “Best Investor Relations Officer,” “Best Investor Relations Website," “Best Investor Relations Department” and “Best Communication of Financial Results.”

President of TAV Airports Holding CEO M. Sani Sener, who secured the first place in the "Best CEO for Investor Relations" category said, "We are more than happy to be continuing our success by receiving awards in six categories following our success last year in five categories. Currently operating in 5 countries across 3 continents with over 20,000 employees, TAV Airports Holding will continue to communicate its investment practices to all its shareholders in full as part of its corporate management principles.”

TAV Airports Holding Finance Director Murat Uluğ, who received the award “Best CFO for Investor Relations,” at the "Turkey Investor Relations Awards," which aims to elevate publically-listed companies in Turkey to regional prominence, transferring their expertise in investor relations, said “It is an honor to be recognized in return for disseminating company information to our shareholders in the most effective way, in today’s world where the importance of transparency and accurate information is recognized more and more. Being awarded in so many categories three years in a row is recognition of the importance we attach to investor relations as company management. As TAV Airports Holding, our goal is to maintain the sustainability of this success we have achieved for the last three years."

TAV Airports Holding Investor Relations Coordinator Nursel Ilgen, who was awarded “Best Investor Relations Department” and “Best Investor Relations Officer,” remarked, “This success we achieved in the last three years, receiving fourteen awards in total, will be encouraging to many companies recently listed with the ISE (Istanbul Stock Exchange) or planning to do so. The “Investor Relations Awards,” was organized for the first time in 2009 and TAV Airports Holding was awarded three prizes in the categories; TAV Airports Holding CEO M. Sani Sener for “Best CEO for Investor Relations,” TAV Airports Holding Investor Relations Website for “Best Investor Relations Website,“ and TAV Airports Holding Investor Relations Manager Nursel Ilgen receiving “Best Investor Relations Officer.” In 2010, TAV Airports Holding received awards in the following categories; TAV Airports Holding CEO M. Sani Sener for “Best CEO for Investor Relations,” Finance Director Murat Ulug for “Best CFO for Investor Relations,” Investor Relations Manager Nursel Ilgen for “Best Investor Relations Officer,” Investor Relations Website for “Best Investor Relations Website”, and the Investor Relations Department for “Best Investor Relations Department.”
