Gazipaşa welcomes AnadoluJet’s inaugural flight
A ceremony is held at Gazipaşa Airport on the occasion of welcoming AnadoluJet’s first flight from Ankara. A subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, AnadoluJet will be flying five times between ESB and GZP for now. Flights are scheduled to depart from Ankara at 12:35 and return from Gazipaşa at 14:15. After April 2014, there will be flights seven days a week.
Operated by TAV Airports, Gazipaşa Airport contributes highly to the development of tourism in the Alanya region. The airport served 370 000 passengers in 2013 and AnadoluJet flights will add Ankara among the airport’s destinations. Providing a wide array of services to passengers in a 2 700 sq meter terminal, developments works are underway in order to increase passenger capacity up to 1.5 m.
