TAV Airports in ITB Berlin
TAV Airports participates in the 46th ITB International Tourism Exchange, held annually bringing the leading names of the aviation industry together. TAV Airports which has become the global brand of Turkey in the airport operations sector, with the airports it operates in Turkey, Georgia, Tunisia and Macedonia, represented the airports it operates at the booth which attracted huge interest from visitors.
As a leading airport operator in Turkey and a global brand representing Turkey at the international arena, TAV Airports participates in the 46th International Tourism Exchange held in the capital city of Berlin, Germany between March 7th and 11th. TAV Airports’ booth representing the airports it operates in Turkey, Georgia, Tunisia and Macedonia has attracted huge interest from visitors attending the ITB Berlin which opens its gates to many important names of the tourism and aviation sector. The fair was participated by 11 thousand companies from 188 countries including Turkey.

Also known as ITB, The International Tourism Exchange, was initially held in 1966 with a five participant countries, as part of overseas importers fair and since then achieved a global success through the fair organized annually. The initial 580 square meter exhibition area has now expanded to 150 thousand square meters. The number of visitors today has reached to over 100 thousand from 250 during the earlier years. With almost 180 thousand visitors and over 10 thousand participants from 187 countries, ITB Berlin has now become one of the most important tourism fairs in the world. TAV Airports has been participating ITB Berlin since 2002.
