Owning 67% shares of HAVAŞ Europe in its partnership with Baltic Aviation Systems, HAVAŞ provides ground handling services in Latvia, Sweden and Finland. With its headquarters in Riga, the capital city of Latvia, HAVAŞ Europe started its passenger services operation for Air Baltic flights as of January 1st, 2010. After going into this partnership, Havaş also obtained the necessary approval to provide ramp services at Riga Airport by winning the Ramp Licensing Tender. HAVAŞ Europe started providing ground handling services in the capital city of Helsinki in Finland as from July the 1st, 2010 followed by its operations in the capital city of Stockholm in Sweden. Aiming to become the largest ground services company across North Europe, HAVAŞ Europe provides services in areas including representation, management, supervision, passenger and apron services. HAVAŞ Europe which is a member of International Aviation Handlers Association (IAHA) and IATA Ground Handling Council (IGHC) operates with a mission to support its customers by providing high standards of ground services. Transferring nearly 80 years of ground handling services experience and know-how to HAVAŞ Europe, HAVAŞ continues to provide full support to rapidly growing HAVAŞ Europe.
